Hi Guys,
This is quite the mind boggler.
Ill try to provide you all with all the info you will need to help me.
Here is a brief description of what my setup is.
I have Qwest DSL going into a WRT54G Wireless/Wired Router.
My brother has a wireless connection, works fantastic.
My mom has a Wired connection in port 2, works fantastic. She obtains a 100Mb Connection: In all ports!
My computer *ugh* is in port 1, and can only obtain 10Mb connection. Even in all ports.
Ok so here is what I've done:
This is to my computer:
I have tried resetting the router, maybe it was something with that. Nope, didn't fix it.
I have tried changing the properties of the my NIC (system, devices, nic, properties, transfer speed) from AUTO to 100Mb Full Duplex and Half Duplex.
When I change it to 100Mb, The little computers in the bottom right corner, say Lan Connection 100Mb... THen I get a red x over them, saying Connection Lost, then Connected Lan 100Mb... an endless cycle of me getting disconnected and reconneted.I have tried switching my port with my moms and ever other port, no avail...
I have Also switched my NIC with 3 other NICS that I have that (ALL) support 10/100Mb Speeds. Doesn't fix the problem.
I have contacted Linksys tech support and told them about this. They said something like "The router's regular port works with 10/100 Mbps. Did you try all the ports on the router? Do you have the same result? How many computer is available in there to try on the router to verify if the router that you have works with 10Mbps only?"
I have done all this, tried all ports with my pc.. I still can't get 100Mb Connection. I always get the same result. And My moms computer is connected and she gets 100Mb with all ports.
I just emailed them back telling them all this, and have not gotten a reply yet.
So guys, please help me, if you need any more info, Ill give it to you.
Thanks a bunch,

Try swapping the patch cable with the one that hooks up your mother's computer to see if there is something amiss with your patch cable. You need a cat 5 patch cable to get 100bt.

They are all Cat 5e Cables

Thats strange , nic connected to a router should always be set as auto on a low router .The routers ports generally can not be set on a low end router and are auto only and if it is working correctly should negotiate to the highest speed which is 100/full . Don't hardcode to 100 full because this will cause a speed /duplex mismatch and cause slow response and errors . Routers port can always sense speed but cannot sense duplex if the nic card is hardcoded so it will default to hald duplex . If you want to try and hardcode the nic set it as 100/half , 100/full will cause problems. Also might want to make sure you have the latest drivers for your nic card . Sounds like it is not a switch problem if your moms works ok . When you change the speeds are resetting your computer , soem require a reboot to change speed settings ???

Low tech solution might be the way to work this problem.
Did swapping patch cables work? Sometimes cables can be faulty. Also, you didnt say if the computers are plugged directly to the router. Maybe the wiring is faulty connecting your computer. You can have faulty wiring and still get a link. 100bt requires all pairs to be connected correctly.
Eliminate all possible variables by connecting NIC directly with a known working patch cable to the router. If the problem is still there, then maybe a problem with your NIC. Could be a driver problem with it too.

Leave everything on auto. It has to be either the cable of the NIC card. Replace Cat5 cable and try a new NIC card.
