Specs: Windows VISTA
When asked for a user name: and password: the system says use admin and password. When I first installed, I may have changed the password. Is there a way to reset the router. AIRSTATION N300

Are you referring to the "password" to enable you to connect via wifi? Or are you asking about the password when you go to login to the router at the web-page (and access all settings)?

If the latter - typical default login/password for many routers is admin/password…; which you say doesn't let you in… So likely you may have changed it all?

A hard reset (via the rest button on most routers - at the back somewhere) will restore the router to factory/delivery state. It will also likely wipe any settings to do with wifi (not the least that encryption key/password to access it via its SSID)

if you go to:

you can find all manner of documentation about this router; and the manual is there to download… It will tell you all you need to know...

Remember that when you access the router setup page - its web-page - you do this with a cat-5/ethernet connection; you do not do it via wifi. Wifi may not be enabled at the time…

Need more input - feel free of course to come back… Folks here will do their best to help.

Incidentally if you post any logon details here - the personal stuff for your router (SSID and similar) - do not put in/include any actual/valid password details here… Merely confirm you have and know what it/they is/are...
