cant find NIC drivers or name

hi i just formatted my computer and i cant seem to find the drivers for my network card, neither can i find the name of the network card. i pulled out the card and looked at it hoping to find the name or model of it but nothing was written on it. can someone please help me with this problem
there should be something on the network card to identify the manufacturer, if not, then spend the money and get another card with the drivers, it will be worth it. they are pretty cheap these days. Al

start, run, 'D:\i386\winnt32.exe /checkupgradeonly' command, where d: is cd drive with a windows cd in.
this will not install windows and may list your nic card in the report generated

Download this app from the following link...

Run the app. It'll probe all your PCI devices (assuming you have a PCI NIC).
If this doesn't work, let me know and I'll e-mail you a more powereful motherboard probing device I have that'll definately tell you what you have.
But for the sake of Ģ20 you could replace the card.
