Cant Find Network

on the upstairs computer i have a motorola wireless pci adapter WPC18010G card. I cannot get this computer to find my wireless network. i have a xbox hooked up here wirelessly so i know its not out so i know its not out of range. i can never get a connection? what can i do? any more information i can give?

I would check the router to make sure you don't have the connections limited. Also, move the laptop to a location right next to the router and see if the network displays. If it doesn't you have an issue with the card.

im having this problem with a desktop. i have a laptop wirelessly connected to same network and it works in the same position as the desktop. the desktop computer reads the card, you can see it in the device manager, the drivers are installed from the cd, its just not finding any connection. any ideas?
