Can't connect win 98 to xp server

i cant connect win98 to xp server, it always ask for the password, when i entered xp password it is always invalid, it is the same password i used when i login using xp to xp but this problem doesn't appear. pls help me....

mke sure that "use simple file sharing is checked" in folder options well i know win xp has this option, not sure about win 98, tools/folder options/view -- use simple file sharing.
Also i cant remember exactly how you get there, but on the win xp pc, under local secuirty policy/security there is an option to use a classic file sharing method make sure this is enabled.
