Can't connect to WPA2 secured W-Network

Hewlett-packard Pavilion dv9000t noteboo...

Specs: Windows Vista, 1 GB
I have a Belkin Router and I was able to set up
a WPA2 security connection but as soon as
the router is ready the computer will not
connect to it, in the networks window it will
display my network with a big X by it saying
that the setting are preventing the connection.

I have tried to look for updates for the wireless
card with no success, is there a way I can
have my network WPA2 secure?

only if your network card supports it. Doesn't sound like it does.
