Can't connect to wireless router

A laptop. Can't connect to network. It says "Unidentified Network(linksys) Access:Local Only
Tried system restore to about a month before it got messed up. I know it's not malware or a virus or anything. It happened after I was installing updates from microsoft. As a side effect, iTunes takes really long to open up and my iPod touch doesn't sync anymore. It shows up in My Computer but not in iTunes.its the cable of USB port: help help

same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. i just left it until the next day and turned it on and it was working again

I already did. This happened about a month ago. Wait exactly. I disconctes the router and everything . And restarted. Why is iTunes slow now?

Download, update & run anti malware from malwarebytes.org If you can't do it from that machine, download it & burn it to a CD from a different machine.
