Running pro, connecting to the internet via wireless networks.(unsecured)Have a Belkin G wireless card as well as a SMC usb adapter. Both were working fine untill I unplugged the usb adapter. Now the Belkin still works, but the adapter wont connect to any wireless networks. It pulls the list of networks fine, but when I try to connect nothing. Windows says -unable to connect to wireless network will keep trying blah blah. I have uninstalled+reinstalled. Checked drivers, and ip's. I noticed that in ipconfig/all the media state for the SMC is disconnected. How can it be disconnected when I can pull the wireless network list? When I repair I get the same message, cannot connect to wireless network. Keep in mind I can still connect to networks with the Belkin. Any ideas?

Did you shut down the SMC first or just pull the plug?
