I can't connect to the internet both via wifi and lan. it says there was a problem with my driver. i replaced the driver already but still same problem. this started when i uninstalled my avg demo virus checker. Barring reinstalling my windows, any solutions out there? i tried reinstalling avg and i can't already. it gives an error message preventing the install. I'm using windows 7 on a Qosmio x500. Did a basic diagnostics check and no problems found. Any solutions before i reinstall. I have a feeling that something on my system is blocking the network from connecting but cant seem to figure out exactly whats happening.

In addition, it says when im connected to the wireless, it is limited only. and even when the lan is connected, it doesn't show that it is connected via lan like it normally would.

Check out this Windows 7 wireless adapter configuration example for your wifi problem, whereas check out this network adapter configuration example for wired connection.

You need to make sure the network adapter driver is installed and works well before using it. Hope this helps.
