recently, our linksys "died" or so comcast says, so we put in another one we had lying around and my dad setup some new network name we didn't have before. when i look in my linksys software, it says therse some sort of lock on it then asks for a WEP, passphrase, etc. but i can still "connect" regardless. Whatever the case, it still doesnt work. the linksys task bar icon shows im connected, but the windows one has a yellow exclamation that says "limited or no connectivity". i really cant figure out WHAT is going on

Disable WEP on the router and on the PCs for now. Run ipconfig on all PCs to see if they are getting an IP address from the router.

If I remember correctly, you have to disable it in two places: 1) The web interface in the router and 2) The wireless NIC settings.
