Comment: I've just upgraded one of my servers to W2K from NT4 (SP6). When I boot normally, I only get ping responses to my own IP address. When I boot in "Safe mode with networking", I get ping responses to all valid IP addresses (in my domain and out.) Whazzup?

Reply: (edit)Paul, Thanks for the suggestions. I'd already tried the tcp/ip uninstall - reinstall. I'm not sure what service might be doing a network lookup, so I haven't disabled any services, yet. Another source suggested taking the server out of the domain and readding it... No good.
