|its a private ip address which we all use so no security issues? Your host isn't being very helpful. You can't even check to see if your box is in the same subnet which is what we are first checking here.|
Go to one of the other lan party boxes
Go to run and type cmd then hit enter
In the blackbox type ipconfig
note the ip address, subnet mask and gateway
for the last number on the ip address use 200 which should put you out of any ipconflict range. So if they have 192.168.1.12 you put in 192.168.1.200
