Can't connect to Kazaa(firewall bypass)?

I am a university student who cannot connect on software like Kazaa. I believe that it is because of a firewall but am not sure. I was wondering if there would be a way to bypass this so I could connect. Any help would be appreciated

Port 1214 would have to be forwarded to your IP address. (Think that's the one anyway.) If you're in good with the system admin, you might can get him to do this. Otherwise, you're outta luck :( Universities do this to minimize bandwidth usage. Sorry for the let-down.
