Can't connect to

Linksys Wrt54gs wireless broadband route...

Specs: Windows Vista
I cant connect to I have a linksys WRT54GS router
When i try to open the page up it just searchs it in google.
can someone please help?

Well that might not be the router's address if someone has changed it. Run ipconfig /all in commandprompt and look at the resultant IP for Gateway & DNS Server. That will be the router IP. You then need to know the admin user ID and password, and if whoever set up the router changed the default IP then they undoubtedly reset the user ID and pwd

Hello there. I have been reading but didn't find anything that works for me. I have a WRT54G that was setup years ago. I'm using a Windows 7 PRO. I recently upgraded Internet Explorer to 9. I can see my router replying to a ping, but I cannot get the login screen. I have tried Run -> iexplorer but always the http:// is in front automatically. I need to change settings for wireless but cannot reach the router. I would try everything before resetting the router, that is the last thing I'll do. Any suggestions?
