My friend from Spain has a Toshiba NB100 that connects without a problem when he is at Starbucks but whenever he is at home here or any other friend's house he can't connect to the wifi systems we have in the houses. Any ideas what he can do?
I thank you in advance for your attention to this query.
Starbucks probably don't have wireless security set up (no WPA key) whereas routers at home do have secure wireless connections. You need to enter the key in the laptop's wireless software otherwise the router won't allow it through.
How does one do that?
