Small network, Win2k server. 12 clients, some W98, Win2000 and XP Pro. On the XP machine, I can't browse the network, however I can map a drive to the server and see and use shared files. I can print to printers on the server etc. Again using Network Places....message says there is no network??

well if you have the built in firewall enabled in win xp that might be the trouble. it seems to block even your own network.

Are you using NetBui on the server? Windows XP does not use NetBui.
