Do you have any other comptuers connected to the router (wired or wirelessly) that do connect?

Was it working and then quit?

Has this been an issue in the past with any other computer?

Include make/model of the router and modem in your reply.

Open a command prompt window (Start >> Run >> type cmd and hit Enter) on both the computer that is working, and on the one that isn't and perform the following command:

ipconfig /all (Enter)

Post the output of the ipconfig command from both computers in a reply here and specify which is the working PC and which isn't. For instructions on how to copy the output click on my name above and read my "how-to" guide titled, "Post the output of ipconfig (version 2)"
