Can't browse, copy file on the network

Please help. A system on my network is working vewry slowly; to browse and even to copy files on the network becomes a heavy tsak for it to do.It gives 'coneection time out' message sometimes if it's browsing. it doesn't copy any file successfully over the network. Please help me out.

P233 MMX
64MB RAM
2.5GB HDD

Remove all temp files and free-up some disk space then defrag your HD then try it again.
