I cannot access my home LAN when I connect to the Windows XP VPN server at home from my notebook. I can connect perfectly fine with the VPN connection on my notebook but when I try to go to network neighborhoods or even search for a computer, it does not work. I have the VPN server give IPs out that are on the same subnet. I don't know what else I can change. I also have the server allow LAN access. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Unable to access the resources on the network 1) Check the DNS and WINS setting. 2) Verify that either the protocol is enabled for routing or the Entire network option is selected for LAN protocols being used by the VPN clients. For more information, go to http://www25.brinkster.com/ChicagoTech
