Alright.. this problem has been going on for a while, and I need to know how to fix it.
I was planning a reformat of my old computer, so I went through the network and stored some files on my mom's computer until after the format. After that, I couldn't access my mom's computer. I have a new computer now, and I still can't access it. I can access my brother's, and my mom's does have the internet working, but no one can access her computer, no one can use the printer that is set up to her computer. When I try and view the properties on her computer through mine it say "The server Gail could not be found on the Network." And when I try accessing her computer from here, "\\Gail is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. The Network Path was not found." I want my stuff back, and I don't want to have to take up her space anymore. Can anyone help me?

You may want to make sure that her computer is in the same workgroup as the others. Also make sure the files are being shared, and make sure the computer is not behind a firewall. :)
