here's the problem: I got a new job and the computer I sit at was all networked for the former worker, about two weeks into it they decided to change the network name to me, instead of her, and they copied all the files over etc..to me on the same computer but just a new network name (I guess). However, since that occurred, I can network fine with everyone and can access their documents etc...but they can only access documents or files that existed when the network was turned over to me. It's as if everything from my computer on the network was frozen and it won't update. I can network with them and modify files and it shows up on their computers as modified, but anything that I add or change that exists on my computer only shows up on my computer, not theirs. certain word documents that existed pre-switch that I've updated, show up on their computers as non-updated. Side note: two of the computers (including mine) are Windows Me, the third computer on the network is Windows 98. Also the old user name has been completely deleted off the system. Any ideas? help is greatly greatly appreciated. thank you.
