Hello,
I just setup a small network for our shop, with Windows 2003 standard server to serve as a file and printing services.
The server or the user's work station can get to the internet via an ip address in the browser, but not by a domain name like www.google.com
what do i have to configured to be able to do this? is this have something to do with DNS server, and how I do go about making this work.

call your ISP and ask them for DNS server addresses. Typically if you use business dsl or T1, they have them for you if you dont have your own

sounds like you have not set up your servers dns to forward to your isp's dns server.
your dns server doesn't know about the internet and as such can't resolve the names. easy to set up forwarding in ms dns.

OK, here it is..
The I can hit the internet with dns name via the server, but the clients can not. This is because of a dns server issue? or is there a settings that I have missed.
again, the client PC can get out using the ip address, but not the dns name.
