hi there, we have a network at our home using a linksys router to share the internet and network across 3 pcs (2 wirelessly). The wired pc and one of the other wireless systems can access the internet and the network, but the 3'rd wireless pc can only access the network. however, its strange because the anitivirus software (AVG) is able to update itself, so there is some kind of internet access somewhere, but IE, MSN etc.. cannot establish internet connectivity. does anybody have any ideas?

delete the work group (if it says "cannot delete" disable it) and build a new one. but keep the name as MSHOME. this happened to mine too. all the PCs accept 1 could do everything. but that one could only access the internet. it is also best to reset the router too (hold the button for 10-15 seconds). Don't do that. Do determine what the problem is. Start by disabling the firewall on each pc Start by seeing if you can ping the gateway from each pc.
