Specs: Windows XP
Got a DLink DP311p used. Per instructions; I set up my PC on The PS is supposed to default on I can't find it there, no ping, no browser access, etc.

Is there a way to reset the factory defaults, or, at least find out what the IP might actually be set to?

You should be able to reset it to factory defaults by pressing and holding the reset button for 10 seconds (with the unit turned on of course).

Release the reset button and let it reboot (give it a minute or two) and then see if you can't reach the default IP address.

I couldn't find a reset button, or a reference to one in the manual - I even pulled back the labels to see if it was hidden under one - nada.

I have one as well and thought I accidentally locked myself out. My understanding is that as long as the switch in the back is set to config, that it will default to, wireless channel 1, WEP disabled. Also, make sure your wireless adapter is set to Ad-Hoc or Peer-to-Peer. When I did all that, I got back in. Once in, then you can set the server to whatever you need for your network. Once done, set the server switch for normal.

You should always be able to get back in to the server configuration by setting the switch back to config and setting up as above.
