hi hope someone can be of help. I have a good wireless connection, but cant browse web pages. can see all the other machines on my network and share files between them but on one of my laptops I cannot access the web, keep getting the program cannot display the webpage. I use avant as a browser, but its the same with explorer. I have 2 other machines on the network that are connected wirelesly to the network and they have no problems connecting to the web..
any help would be appreciated thanx in advance Auldy

Type ipconfig /all in command prompt to ensure it displays correct IP, netmask, gateway and DNS info. If correct, then ping the gateway and other computer IP and it should work. If not, recheck your network adapter's configuration.
After that, use nslookup to try resolving the domain name. If it doesn't work, then try to configure following free DNS servers provided by OpenDNS and try again. Once you can resolved the domain name, try to use browser to access websites..
