Hi, Why would i not be able to ping a remote PC in my LAN if i cann connect to that PC by using the address bar in an explorer window, i.e. \\<pc name>\<shared folder>
The above works fine, but when i ping it it doesn't resolve. If i ping back from the other PC it works fine.
weird or wot :) I have editerd both host files so each PC knows the name/IP of the other. Problem now is there is an app that runs on one PC getting files from the other and i cannot run it because of this problem.
