I have two PCs running win2k and am connected to a cable modem on both pcs with a router. I can see the other computer under network neighborhood from either computer. I can ping myself(the pc I'm on) and the router...but cannot ping the other computer. I get a timed out message.

Another question...do I have to set IP addresses on them?? They are automatically assigned, as well as the dns server and the gateway is default. I believe my router is handling all this stuff.
