We are using dlink network storage access NAS. Other computer can map/connect/ping/access to those network share drive. But mine
cannot map the network drive. if I choose one drive"T:" and browse to the network share drive, i can't see or go inside the subfolder
that I want to map under dLink share drive. I can see the drive only. When I manually type the "\\Dlink99a47a\sharefolder" it ask for
password. Actually I don't define any password for network share drive. The laptop is a new one and already join to Workgroup. The sharedrive is under workgroup. Is anyone have an idea?

Use the user name & password for the computer itself.

two aspects to consider. One is how the nas is shared. Is it to "everyone"? should be.
Second is it appears you don't have an account on the nas which is why you are being asked for a password. You should have an account with same spelling and password as you logon your pc with.
