Cannot log into router 192.168.2.1

Specs: Windows Vista
I just bought a Belkin G wireless router f5d7234-4 v500. I set it up and everything was fine till I started messing with the settings and configured my router as an access point. It gave me an default ip address which was 192.168.2.254 but it does not work. I can still use my internet on my laptop to which it's wired, but no wifi for my iPad. When I go to ipconfig on cmd promt there is no default gateway.

I tried resetting my router but no luck in logging back into the default 192.168.2.1
How can I fix this!?

find the reset button on the router. Hold it in with a paperclip as you power cycle the router. This will undo the changes you made. You will need to logon and set everything up properly again since it is back to factory defaults.

Answers are only as good as the information you provide.

Usually you could reset wireless router by pressing reset button for 15-20s when it's powered on. Once you have reset wireless router, you need to configure your computer with IP 192.168.2.10 or other IP on same network in order to access router management page for re-configuration.

Take a look on this wireless router configuration example if you want more ideas.

Hope this helps.
