I have clearwire. I cannot load the "members only" site from I can get to the mail landing page but can't go on from there. I've tried everything--even having Dell on call take me back to pre-factory pre-set. I'm thinking it's with my IPS (dynamic) but there really ought to be a way around this. Got more ideas than what I've already tried from this website? Oh, and the question I keep getting asked is can I go everywhere else and have I disabled firewalls. Yep. Nada.

Hope you didn't spend too much on that. My guess is the owner is the only one making it rich.

Do you know anyone else that can use it?

Might try a knoppix live cd???

The only think I could think of is your security settings on IE are set high or maybe active x or java issue.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10

There are simply 1000's of people using it. I, again, think it must be an ISP problem.

Your first stop would be to review your hosts file for a entry.

Search your computer for hosts with no extension.

Next stop would be to review any spyware/antivirus software that may have asked you a question and was misanswered [now blocking when you didn't want it blocking]

This has nothing to do with the isp, your hardware or your ip. It is a sub url that is being blocked.

Have you contacted tech support to make sure there isn't something at their end?

I have contacted WA and support says it's on my end.

I'm sorry. I'm such a non-technophile that I really didn't understand much of what you said. Could you put your answer in forms of two words or less, or even better, tell me how to look for what you said?

If you are too busy, I will understand. I am high maintenance when it comes to computers.

and I so appreciate your help.
