Whether you have enabled security encryption and if so what type.
The operating system in the problem laptop.
What if any error message you get when you try to connect.
What happens if you try to connect it using an ethernet cable instead of wireless?
Has the router been set with any filters? If mac filtering has been invoked and a new device tries to connect it is automatically blocked until it's mac address is added to the "allow" list.
Is the wireless NIC in the laptop enabled?
Can this laptop connect wirelessly elsewhere such as public hotspots?
There are a lot of reasons why a client system cannot connect wirelessly and we need a lot more info to solve your situation
