I went over to my friend's house and he had a computer which could connect to the Internet just fine, but he complained about it not being able to connect onto MSN Messenger. I tried it and it said that it could not connect to the server because it was offline. I ran a scan through pcpitstop.com and found he had a C:\WINDOWS\system32\ieidsijur\csrss.exe Agobot virus
C:\WINDOWS\system32\ieidsijur\smss.exe Dalbug/Ladex worm. I quickly removed it thanks to the internet (removal instructions). But now, the internet still works but he still cannot connect to MSN. He can also not connect to any server (we tried the game Gunz). It came back with a 404 error. I'm not that great with networking so please help. His setup is his computer- Linksys Wireless router- cable modem. With another computer connected to it. Also, his computer in the Network Connections has 1394 Connection, LAN, and an Wireless Connection that he does not use with an X on it. I began to think that the Wireless Connection could be messing it up but I can't delete the connection. I think that's all the information I can give you. Thanks in advance for your help.

soulds like a firewall, maybe windows firewall. try disabling that, if still a problem then it is probably some other firewall like nortons or mcafee or zone alarm...

Actually... now that I think of it, although I disabled the router( plugged computer directly into the cable modem) I havn't checked the Windows Firewall. If anyone else has any input, please help yourself. Thank you

If you're running any kind of spyware catcher it may have made an entry in your Host file.
