I have a home network with 2 computers sharing a DSL connection. only one of the computers cannot access certain secure sites and yahoo groups and mail when connected to the network. If I connect it directly to the DSL modem it does fine but for some resason it want work through my router. i have a netgear mr814v2 with the latest firmware update, i've tried everything with it, including setting that computer as a DMZ. my other computer on the network works perfectly with the network.

Do you have your ISP's settings correctly setup in the router's configuration page? Did you give the router your ISP's DNS server addresses? Are you using Static IP's or is the router providing DHCP service? Did you give the clients the DNS server addresses as well. Did you assign the correct gateway IP on the clients? In IE tools advanced tab under the security heading do you have the secure server encryption protocols enabled on the problem computer? You may want to lower your security settings a little on your firewall on the problem computer or on your router's firewall. Of course setting it up in the DMZ should have eliminated the router firewall all together. My hunch is a setting on the problem P.C.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.
