You are using front slashes//. Use \\ back slashes from the run box. XP has a 10 connection limit.

One or more could mean a million. Did you look at how many connections actually exist to that machine?

Disable the firewall.

But I can ping all the systems & I get the reply....
The problem cannot share the files and drives which is been shared..

Is Norton or a second firewall running on the problem machine? Share the entire drive for now. Check the permissions again on the files that are shared. Who & what are currently listed as having access?

Yes even truning off the firewall on both the system. I am not able to see the workgroup. I even checked the permission too its Everyone on network can share. But still the same problem.

Other Error is while giving a print from a workstation. In a network. It says the Printer is not available the spooler problem. In servives.msc I restarted the print spooler. It Still states that print spooler error. What should I do for this.

I have runned them. As I have not registerd it, It gives a free version so I cannot delete the virus totally when I scan.
It says 25 regesitry errors have taken place.

But Is there any thing to do with these virus on viewing the workgroup computers on network??
Is there any other way to make the function run or open the my workgroup.
