Can you use *67 to block yourself?

Can you use *67 when you dial into the internet, and will it block your phone number from you ISP (AOL)?

You are OK with AOL knowing your credit card number (or checking account number), home address, name, and whatever else you need to give them when you sign up, but you are concerned about your phone number?

Are you afraid they'll call you at home?
