I am trying to avoid purchasing DSL and utilizing the signal my landlord lets me use.

Does anyone know of equipment that recieves a wireless signal, amplifies it, then converts the signal into a data line out (that I can plug into my computer, or airport express/airtunes station)??

Linksys wireless access points can be used in either a access point mode or a client mode.

You can also get antenas that boost the range if needed.

I have one setup at a client running about 700 feet with a 45% link quality.
