I have a Alltell wireless internet plug in and get internet card. If I plug it into a router, will it then be able to be used by a laptop in the same room? I am trying to make the alltell wireless card connect with my laptop about 20-feet away to broadcast a softball game using talkshoe.com for 3-days. The place has the card but not the installation CD for my computer. I was thinking maybe the router would make my laptop pick it up as a wireless internet service.
