No, not with a standard USB cable. There are USB transfer cables that are made though. They have a microprocessor built in.
You will have better luck just using an ethernet cable and connecting over a network.
The cheapest cable to connect two computers is a cross-over cable (ethernet).
Yep, connect 2 PC directly via USB cable is not common anymore, the easier way is to connect both PC with network cable directly as shown here. Hope this helps.
