Can solwise piggy work with standard sky netgear router

Specs: N/A
Looking at buying a Solwise Net-PL-500AV-Piggy powerline adapter.

Will I be able to just plug this into my standard Sky Netgear Router with a further adaptor in another room to make a "powerline" network. Thus increasing speeds between rooms?

Connecting iMacs running Mac OS X 10.6.8 and Mac OS X 10.7.3 respectively.

No you can not plug the Piggy into the Router, it is plugged into a Mains Outlet in both Rooms.

You need to use an RJ45 Cable to connect the Sky Router to Piggy and another RJ45 Cable to connect other Piggy to Ethernet Enabled Device.

Will it increase speed, well that depends on the Ethernet Port on Machines, but yes it shouldl be faster than Wireless networking

Googling is quicker than waiting for an answer....
