can ping pinter,but can not print

Hi All I have this new Computer:p4 3gb cpu/ 2gb Ram with 2 network card insttald,I have 2 printers connected to this computer via Routor(its not attached directly to the computer) witch sharing the internet as well,I insttald the drivers for printers and Assigned IP address to them,my problem is ,I can ping the printers but I can not pirint,when I try to print I get the message:check your connection and make sure the printer is on.(the pinter is on and connected)any idea? Thanks.

The second network card isn't needed and is giving you the problem. Put everything on one subnet.

If you can ping the printer, then you should be able to print. I suspect you've installed the printer in windows incorrectly. Remove it and start over with the driver disk in hand.

I did remove the printer and I did download the updated diver from canon web site and installed it and I disable on of the network card ,but still the same ,I ping it but not printing.

Run ipconfig /all and post the results along with the IP of the printer. Also, use static IP addresses.
