I can only access my Apache web server outside the router. I cannot access it inside the LAN. I am using the IP address which I have been assigned by my ISP. I have setup Port forwarding. When I enter the IP into my Internet browser within the LAN it gives me my routers configuration... When I enter the IP outside the LAN I can see my Apache web server.

It sounds like the router does not support local loopback, my old router didn't, basically that is what will happen you wont be able to use your ISP ip to loopback into the server, it is a design thing, might not be that but i puzzled for an answer for ages once and i was told from the manufacturers that this was the cause.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply and the useful information! I had a look in my routers configuration and found something called Routing Setup Routing -- Static Route. Is this anything like the loopback which you mentioned?
