I have just set up a home network through my Netgear Router, all computers hard wired not wireless. All the computers are named individually and on the same network. I can see all the computers on the network but cant access any of them as I get a message to say "invalid path" or that I do not have access to them. I am the Administrator for all the computers and used the Network wizard to set them up allowing sharing of files and printers. Anyone any idea what box i havent checked that will let me get into the network. It is the same on all three computers.

Can you ping each computer from one of the others? Are they all obtaining an IP address? Life's more painless for the brainless.

First, use "ipconfig" to check each computer, see whether they got IP and network information set. Then check the IP, netmask and gateway that you set, make sure they are correct. Check any installed firewall (windows firewall, antivirus firewall) on computers, you need to allow the file/printer sharing traffic to go through.
