Can I use an aircard as my wireless internet?

Specs: Windows xp
I have a desktop with no internal wireless card. I purchased an AT&T air card (USBConnect Lightning for AT&T), which allows me to connect to the internet. I also purchased a netgear wg111v3 wireless adapter. I would like to connect to my Wii but can not figure it out. I also have a Belkin F5D router. Can anyone help me connect to my Wii? I am running Windows XP.

If it's possible, and I don't know that it is, you would enable ICS on your air card (to share it with the wireless NIC) and create an "ad hoc" wireless network on the laptop's wireless NIC and connect your Wii to that ad hoc WLAN.

It matters not how straight the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate;
I am the captain of my soul.
