Can I use a router with ICS???

Ok,
This setup is a little complicated but I think it can be done...

So far I have my main PC running on a wireless broadband connection from my best friend that lives in the house next door from me. I am using the Wireless abilities of his router to gain access to the internet.

His setup,
cable line > Cable Modem > Router

What I want to do is setup my main PC as an ICS host, then run an Ethernet line from my main PC to a router in my house so that my two laptops can also use the internet.

I can't connect all the laptops to the main PC's WiFi backbone, since there is a high gain antenna connected to the main PC to get the signal in the first place.

Does anyone know if DHCP will allow this to be an easy setup? Or will this even work? Will I have to configure the Router manually then use DHCP? Can someone please advise…

ICS is a dhcp server, a limited server, but it will handle all dhcp sever requests. it will not let clients use the shared internet connection unless it assigns the ip, or you set them up static using the subnet range it wants to use. normally 192.168.0.x.

your getting too many routers on such a small subnet, use a cheap switch on your end, much less work and trouble.
