Can I use 2 asdl modems on 1 line? I have 2 PC's in my house, 1 is already online with BT ADSL (USB Alcatel Speedtouch Modem). The fact that it is USB restricts my options as far as networking goes, and the 2nd PC is far away from the first. Basically, I'd like to know if it's ok to buy another Alcatel Speedtouch modem, and use it on the same line for the 2nd PC? Is this OK as far as BT is concerned, and is it even possible on the line? Thanks for your help.

You could install NIC's in each computer and set up internet sharing on the one connected to the dsl modem. That is the only way I can think you can share the connection.

NEVER BUY A USB NETWORK COMPONET!!!
