Specs: Windows 7, Intel Atom
I want to attach a wireless adapter to my HP officejet V40 and convert it into a wireless printer. the intention is to print wireless from my netbook to the printer. i have a d-link wi-fi router to which is attached a modem to connect to the internet through a broadband connection.
Is this possible?

basically the answer to your question is No.

This printer needs to be attached by USB to a host PC.
It isn't even listed as compatible with any HP Printservers. It would be unusual to see an all-in-one unit that could be used in all it capability as a stand-alone network appliance.

Maybe I'm wrong about this though. Have a look at this:
