My son has bought a new pc and would like to network it with mine
To save having another phone line installed could the 2 pc's share the same ISP account? If so what cables or cards would we need to do so?
And also if it's possible to share the access would both pc's be able to be connected to the internet at the same time?

Yes - what ur proposing is being performed by millions of homes/businesses around the world already !!

Go to http://www.practicallynetworked.com/howto/ for some practical advice.

It's not difficult to setup, but bear in mind that a broadband connection is preferable if ur sharing the internet !!
