Hey guys! HAve a prob regarding my NTL cable modem. Wondering if you any1 could help! Conncection to internet is lost and the cable modem has gone chaotic. When turned on a random sequence of CAble Modem lights come on... then eventually become stable for like... 5 secs.. then the whole sequence repeats itself... any idea of what's happened? Cheers

1) Your modem got hit by lightning and its input stage is blown? Or it has an internal failure.
2) You cable has a bad connection or loose connection or too many splitters and has a very low receive signal level. Does a TV plugged into the same cable instead of the modem work on channel 2 OK and without a lot of noise?
3) Your Cable ISP had canceled your account or your modem is no longer registered by its MAC address.
4) Your Cable ISP's HeadEnd modem has lost your configuration file. Have you called your ISP support line and asked them to check why your modem is not connecting?
