Does anyone know if it's possible to use a cable internet from comcast without having to use a cable modem? Maybe connect the cable internet into the tv and plug in the eternet cable from your PC into the TV? Does anyone any other way or if this is possible?

I don't think you can get an IP address through your TV. Comcast can't be that stupid. Try a wireless card if you want free internet.

The answer to your question is no. And, what you're trying to do is illegal.

No you cannot. A Modem performs a very specific function and only a Modem will do it.

A TV might do the DEModulation function bit, digital TVs do it all the time. But it wont do the MODualtion function as a TV is receive only.

Really? Then clue me in.

Comcast has to register any modem before it can get an ip address so stealing internet from comcast is a moot point.

You know that & I know that but I bet the OP doesn't know that, which is why he asked the question.
