Hey, I got two computers running on a LAN through a D-LINK Ethernet Router. Got Cable Internet a few days ago, and am having trouble sharing the internet connection thru the router. I plug the cable modem into the WAN port of the router, but can't figure out whatelse to do to make it work. Any Ideas? Both computers are running WinXP, one on XPHome other one on XPPro. Thanx a lot

Is there a link between all of the machines and the router and the cable modem and the router. It should be plug and go, also what model number of router do you have. Some of the older versions of firmware do not support auto uplink on the WAN port. Good Luck!
